2014/15 Hype Home Venue

Hudson Valley Hype Enterprises, LLC is proud to announce they have reached a tentative deal with New Paltz College to be the official home venue for the 2014/15 Hudson Valley Hype team. While their busy collegiate schedule will only allow for a handful of games to be played this season it’s an exciting opportunity to be part of the New Paltz campus.

The Hawk Center arena comfortably seats 1,800 people, and there is not a single bad seat in the house. In spite of its size, crowds oftentimes give the Hawks a home-court advantage in this palatial venue. The Athletic & Wellness Center’s elevated track surrounds the upper perimeter of the arena, and there are windows from the track level overlooking the gym in each of the four corners. An elevated press box with land Ethernet connections and a phone line makes for easy setup for broadcast crews, and the courtside press row also enjoys Ethernet hookups. While eating and drinking in the stands is prohibited, there is an abundance of space outside of the gym to snack on concessions from Half Court, the official concession stand of New Paltz Athletics. Half Court is located right by the passageway from the Elting Gym side of the building to the Athletic & Wellness Center side.

Continue to follow the team on social media as home games are announced at the New Paltz campus.
